Greetings

I don't really have a use for the program and I thought that I'd got rid of it, but I'm getting (daily) notification of an update for it.

So, how do I eliminate it from my machine?

In simple terms, please.

I usually just buy her a new purse or a pair of shoes. Oh wait. Different Growl. Take a peek at this:

Bummer, Growl is very handy - many apps integrate with it to send you notifications (for example, Growl will pop up alerts when you're using Adium, which is an IM program). If you didn't purposely install it, it was probably installed as a component of another software program that relies on it.
