Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could help me out. I've recently got a 16GB ipod nano which needs itunes version 8 to run. I have an OSX 10.3.9. operating system and the highest version of itunes I seem to be able to download is 7.7.1. Is there anyway I can download version 8 or something to make my ipod accept a lower version of itunes? I guess the other option is to upload all my music onto a friends Mac and download from there, which would be a huge hassle, especially if I get some more new music anytime in the future!
Thanks for your help

Sadly not as far as I know. You need to upgrade to Tiger really.
You could try mounting the nano as a drive and then drag and drop music to it. You won't sync with iTunes but your music will still transfer this way.
