hallo!!
my flash drive is not found in my Mac OS X system. I have to reboot the system, then it will find it. And after I safely remove it and plug it back in, it's not recognized again.
In Disk Utility when it's not recognized,it only gives me the option 'erase' but then 'Disk Erase failed with the error: Input/output error'.
Could you please help me? Please....

it's not a Transcend, is it? I have an 8GB acting up with the same error, still working with it.

no solution. You will find it will work correctly in a PC though. :p Formatting won't happen in Disk Utility (I/O error) and not in VMWare. Not entirely sure it's unresponsive if you boot camp to XP. You could try.

Regardless, it doesn't solve the OSX issue. Their site doesn't have anything. I have yet to call Transcend.
