avi to dvd converter needed

Hi I am in need of a avi to dvd converter i have tried using ffmegx but the files it outputs wont work on my dvd player for my tv (not my mac).

so does anyone know of a avi to dvd converter please, as i need to convert a avi file from my mac so it will work on my dvd player at home.

You can burn avi to a dvd in iDVD5 or Toast and it will work fine
