I have a 13" MacBook Pro 2.26Ghz, 2GB RAM and 160GB/5400RPM HDD

I'm not to sure whether to upgrade to 4GB of ram or upgrade to a 320GB/7200RPM HDD?

What do you guys think is the more worthwile upgrade??

Speed is the way to go. Go with the RAM upgrades. The harddrive can wait, and besides, you can use an inexpensive external one anyway for media and the like.

If you have Snow Leopard, do the RAM. If you have Leopard or Tiger, then do the HDD.

<-- Just upgraded HDD, and it's noticeably faster booting, launching programs, etc....

Depends on how you will use the MBP - if u r going to have have heaps of Apps open then more RAM means less caching to disk.

Depends what you need. If you need extra space then get the HDD. If you are using applications that needs a lot of memory then get the RAM.
