Deleting bookmarks in Firefox.

How is it done short of having to go through "organize bookmarks." Must be an easier way. When I highlight a bookmark to delete and right tap/click it takes me to the website. If I did the same in windows it would allow me to delete the bookmark.

Not one that I've found.

But, I'm with ya on wishing it could be done from the menu.

Not so, just a user unfamiliar with the program. From Firefox Help:

Deleting a single bookmark

1. Go to the page in your bookmarks that you want to remove.
2. Click on the star icon in the Location bar. The Edit This Bookmark box will be shown.
3. In the Edit This Bookmark box, click Remove Bookmark.

Thanks for the question. Didn't know this myself.

Open the sidebar (command-B), find the link, right-click-delete.
Works in OS X and Windows.

Apple doesn't control how Firefox works or operates. Firefox works pretty much the same way on Windows, OS X, and Linux.

Safari has a much less primitive bookmark management interface. The Firefox developers would do well to copy it.
