I have a white Macbook that is about 6 months old. I have upgraded to Snow Leopard, and one of the things I have noticed is when I try to empty my trash, it is VERY slow. Sometimes it takes about 10 mins before it finishes. Why is this? I have a friend who I have helped on their Macbook, and when I've emptied their trash it emptied it right away, no delay. What is the problem? Mine is almost always consistent in taking "forever" to delete.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

Common problem - go to the Finder pulldown menu, then Preferences... and uncheck Empty Trash Securely :)
