Firewire Drive Causes Kernal Panic

Hi Y'All,

I have a 2008 iMac. I connected a 500GB Iomega drive via Firewire. It used to work fine. Since upgrading to Snow Lep, every time I switch on the drive it causes a kernal panic.

Any ideas?
