Have not seen this asked anywhere yet, but I would like to know. I am installing 10.6 on my macbook pro 2.53. I just installed 10.5, but found that system has a (I consider) bad defect of creating and then not being able to repair bad permissions. Anyway, I am hoping 10.6 will correct that problem.
I have also a white macbook 867 ghz which is running 10.5. Question is, can I boot my macbook pro in target mode with the older macbook and work on the 10.6 disk from the 10.5 disk? Like repair permissions, defrag it, etc...
thanks,
