dead pixels on an aluminum macbook (april 2009)

I've got what I am fearing are 2 dead pixels on my unibody macbook's LED screen. I bought the laptop in the end of April 2009. I shouldn't have dead pixels.

I'm under warranty until April. What should I do? Send it in immediately and have them replace my macbook? Wait until April and do it? What do you folks think?

The pixels are annoying. I go to clean my monitor and they persist, and I'm almost positive that the spots (spaced about 10 pixels vertically and 200 pixels apart horizontally) are under the screen. Doh.

Advise me, Mac-forums.

Unlikely that you'll get anything done for a 6 month old screen with only 2 dead or stuck pixels.

It doesn't hurt to go in and ask though, worst thing that happens they say no.

lol - I've tried both on a TV I have with over 30 stuck pixels right in the middle of the screen.

Tried the pressure method first - until I realized I was doing it on a LCD projection TV - brain fart.

Haha... so upon closer inspection, I don't think they're dead pixels. Black tiny dots on my screen, but they're inbetween the pixels, like in the center of where 4 pixels meet. Weird. I have no idea what it is, but it's annoying.

I have one stuck pixel (red) on my macbook pro. I've tried both these methods. Massage doesn't really work because the screen is solid, you can put any pressure on it. The other method didn't work either. After a while I just stopped paying attention to it.

The first method I linked to assumes that you have removed the protective glass panel first on your MBP. Then you can massage the screen.
