Weird situation, out of nowhere today..

Macbooks power cord is plugged in, the orange (charge) light is on, but it won't go above 0%. If I take the power cord out the laptop dies. If I keep it in, I am fine.

Any ideas? Havent had power issues before with this. Usually I get a 2-3 hours at least off a fully charged battery

Thanks

How many charge - recharge cycles on the battery? Your battery may well be dead or so weak that it can no longer take a charge. The input power board can also be at fault but the battery is a more likely suspect.

Regards.

Weird, try taking the battery out, plug in the AC adapter and turn on the computer. Then shut down and putting the battery back in. Otherwise, reset PRAM and see what happens.
