Your Mac's Specs
13" Macbook Pro 2.53GHz; 4GB RAM; GeForce 9400M
Uh, well HD on the computer is simply a resolution limitation. 1920x1080 is 1080p/i. I don't think they ever will to be honest. Everything would be just be way too small to work on, granted you can increase icon/font size). But I think it would just increase the price that only a few people would want. The 17" can already support full HD.

Though, they might add when they start putting in Blu-ray drives by default.

In terms of capability, pretty much every Mac after the GeForce 8600M can handle full HD videos without any tearing or lag.

Oh, so putting HD on a 13 inch would be out of the question for near future, based on size / not enough room for it to handle?

I'm pretty newb too and I also wanted to know if HD is a serious pricing monster and wouldn't be something apple would release before christmas.
