Any way to receive GMail in outlook (via Windows machine) and Mac Mail?

Good afternoon.
I am starting using Mac but there is a "problem".
I have a laptop with windows xp and "my life" there.
And my Mac is G5, "desktop".
My documents are on an external disk, but my emails are in Outlook, separated in folders.
Well... my question is if I can receive my emails in my Mac and in Outlook. As you know, if I receive it in outlook, then Mac will not receive the emails. My emails are on the server (gmail), but I only receive them via POP 1 time.
Any way to receive it in outlook and mac?

You could always set up your gmail as IMAP
