Hi all

I have had my New Macbook pro for just under a year now and i thought i might finally ask around about this

If i am listening to music through my macbook pros built in speakers and i plug headphones in, there is like a 3 second delay before they get directed into the headphones.

Is this normal, or is it just my laptop, if it is normal is there any way to fix it?

Yes it's normal and there is nothing to fix. It is just your machine directind signal from the speakers to the output jack. You will find this on any piece of equipment that auto detects. If they didn't auto detect you would have to push a button or turn a dial....
