I'm trying to install Myst: Masterpiece Edition onto my new Imac with the latest OSX. It says I need Classic environment, which is no longer supported. Great. Is this great game a coaster now, or is there a way around this?

Sounds like it's very old, designed for Mac OS 9. Unfortunately, I don't believe you can play that on a modern Mac. Very similar to trying to play a Windows 98 game on a modern machine.

You could also purchase an older used Mac that will run "Classic".
