FastMac battery

I received a new FastMac battery last week. My old Mac battery is almost two years old. For some reason with the new battery I don't get the low battery warning any more. The Mac just shuts off without warning. What can I do to get the message back?

Since the FastMac batteries are not a product made by Apple they might not be compatible with the "Battery Low" warning that is programmed in your Mac. Just a guess but it's the best one I have.

If Apple made a better replacement battery for a 2 year old MacBook Pro I'd buy it.

I would contact fastmac about it also. Whenever I talk to them they are pretty good at getting back to me right away.
