Need Monitor suggestions for G5

Hello All,

I recently bought an older Power Mac G5 and connected to a samsung monitor. My girl friend also has a G5 connected to an old apple flat panel display and it looks so much better. The colors and sharpness are crystal clear. Both computers have very similar specs. What do I need to look for in a monitor? Thanks.

Have to say for one notn impressed by Samsung products after camera and TV problems. If the G5 comes with Apple Direct Connect (ADC) fittings on the graphics card, then perhaps an older Apple 17" LCD would be the go as ADC carries power, signal and USB all in the one cord.

For a newer monitor, good things heard about the ViewSonic 19" and they are very reasonably priced.
