I'm not sure if this is the right area on the forums, but it seemed the most appropriate. I chose MacBook Pro because that's the most similar type of Macbook to the notebook I'm going to get.
I am planning on buying a pretty beefed-up Windows-based notebook in the next year, and I want to change it to the newest Mac OS. I'll get Bootcamp or something on it eventually to also be able to boot into Windows 7 as well, but my question is, is it even possible for me to turn most sold-in-stores Windows notebooks into a Mac notebook?
I assumed that I could just format the drive and install the newest Mac OS, but I'm worried about the drivers for...well, everything on the notebook. Is there a particular company that makes notebooks with Windows and Mac drivers available?
Thanks for any help!
