wireless cuts out??

I am having trouble with my wireless system. i have a macbook pro, and have never had a single problem with it since i got it, about 3 years ago. my wireless signal will just cut out, and i cant retrieve it unless i restart my computer. sometimes i have to restart a couple of times for it to find the signal. any help? thanks

no help here? i know its not our wireless signal, because my wife's computer works just fine. still having problems, signal goes away and wont reconnect, until i restart my comp.

Anything changed on your MBP recently? Is the signal fade any different with your location?

20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
Reboot the router, and also run Disk Utility to verify permissions.
Once you've done that I would suggest resetting all of your network preferences on the Pro, to see if it helps with the connection issue.
Also, if you are running Leopard and using WEP encryption, there are known issues that swapping to WPA will solve.
