Can I Upgrade PowerPC OS 10.2.8?

I just recently inherited a Mac Dual 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 with OS X Version 10.2.8 and a couple programs I use regularly. Final Cut Pro 4.1.1 and it has Roxio Toast V 6.0.3 and an Epson scanner program. I have install discs for all the programs I use now also. I want to upgrade the operating system but the new Leopard will not run on a PowerPC. Can I upgrade from 10.2.8 to any version higher than 10.4 and still use those programs? Where can I get those old install discs?

Thanks for any info you can give.

iMac C2D (Penryn) 2.8 GHz 4GB RAM
You can upgrade to 10.5 (Leopard) just not to 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

I think you would find it to be a terrific upgrade from 10.2.8.
