    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

How would you get a gunshot effect using iMovie '09?
If you know of any good tutorials, or just from personal experience please tell me.

i havent had much experience with macs as hopefully i will get my own this weekend but from tutorials and experience on other software and macs, download a gunshot noise from soundtrack sites some free some not or record it from tv and then import it through adding audio and shorten it down to when the gun will fire but make sure you look at the clip over to make sure its right as i was out by a second and it looked odd.
Hopefully this helps

just thought did you mean sound or screen effects.
If its effects check out you tube as i know a lot of other software that can be used to make fire from the gun and bullet holes, try adobe after effects, but you will have to make the image of the hole or fire first and then edit on to each part to the film i.e. .1 of a second then .2 then .3 etc i think adobe cs4 does this aswell
