I have a Macbook pro 15.4" 2.16 MGHZ with 2 GB ram. I would like to upgrade to 4 GB. The guys at the local apple store told me to go to Crucial.com to get the right stuff but they tell me that I can't add any more ram. Is this true? Why is apple telling me differently?

Your Mac's Specs
rMBP 15" / 2.6GHz / 16GB / 512GB
If I remember correctly you can use 2x2GB ram in your computer. Even though it will display the correct RAM size in the OS it will only be able to utilize around 3GB of it.

Maybe you could find the model number of your macbook, it will be easier to answer then.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
