picture on desktop

Hi there

Could someone please guide me so that I can put up a picture on the TOP LEFT hand side of my desktop ( I have a Macbook WHITE ) so that it stays there ? like a stickie ?

hi thanks ,

Ok I want to put up a picture on my desktop from iphoto like a small image which is always open ON my desktop even after I shut down and start up again

You could always just use Stickies, and drag a photo onto a note. Then add it to your login items list (System Preferences - Accounts) so it comes up after a reboot.
