I have a remote control from my previous MacBook, however I am using a new iMac now... I wish I could use the remote control with the iMac. Is this possible??

Have you tried using the remote with your new iMac?...I think your results will answer your question.

it would probably be usable. HAVE YOU EVEN TRIED USING IT YET.
