Hi Guys,

I have Asus p320 mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.1 and 2009 Macbook pro.
Now when I connect it via USB cable MacOS dosen't detect it, although phone begins to charge. What could be the reason because the phone has Mass storage emulation enabled and it works like pen drive in this mode.

Do I need to enable some setting somewhere in OS X, so that phone is detected as a pen drive?

Regards,

you will need Missing Sync if you want to sync your windows mobile phone to your Mac.

I don't want to sync it...basically windows mobile has 2 modes for USB operation
1) Active Sync
2) Mass Storage Emulation

The second mode makes it a generic Mass storage device, so ideally it shouldn't require any drivers...

Missing Sync gives you an option to mount your phone as a drive. It will appear in Finder like a USB drive.

Yeah, as they've said above you need to purchase Missing Sync to use your phone with Mac OS X.

Microsoft have really flopped on that one.

It was actually the reason I bought a iPhone and I REALLY like my WM cell.
