Getting my Contacts in to my iPhone...

Hi

I have been using a SonyEricsson telephone and finally got my iPhone today :)

Can you help me with how I get my contacts over to my new iPhone? Sending them by bluetooth didn't work...

My method was to make a new group in address book and drag into that just the contacts that i wanted on iPhone and then in setting up the synch when connected with the USB cable told it to only synch with that folder. Did the same with iTunes as well rather than shift across songs i don't listen to.

If your contacts are saved to your sim card they should transfer over easily. I switched from a Sony Erisson as well and my contacts transfered that were on my Sim card.

Save them all on a sim card.
Put that sim card in the iPhone.
Go to settings > mail, contacts, calendars > scroll down to import sim contacts.
Job done :)
