We have a setup where files are dropped to a server from across a network, where a script reads them and does some stuff. The problem is that from some of our computers, the permissions are set to Read-Only for everyone but the admin of the original computer that sent the file. This is very annoying because the script is unable to finish those files. I know how to change permissions after the fact, but what about new files?
What do I need to do to make the sending computers allow read and write permissions by default?
