Hello,

I have a movie clip in iMovie 09. I removed the audio from the clip, and added new audio to the project.

I want to cut out sections, but I cannot split the audio.

Anybody understand how to do this? Why can't I split the audio along with the video now that I have them synched up?

Thanks,

-Gary

it seems like it should be the most basic function and one that should be accomplished easily. God, did Apple screw up iMovie or what? 3 versions ago was so simple - straightforward, non-linear editor. the poor man's FCP. now with all these events, projects, filmstrips, audio in a background bubble - the thing is sh*t. Can anyone help us out? How can you cut out audio with video and still keep them synched?
