I've had an FM transmitter that plugs into my car's cigarette lighter since I had my original iPhone first gen, and it's always worked perfectly well, however I've noticed that recently - and I believe only since I've upgraded to the latest iPhone firmware - that it's been acting up a lot and getting progressively worse, to the point where every few seconds it stops playing the music and I have to keep fiddling around with the cables and/or taking the connector out of the cigarette lighter port and re-inserting it. It also keeps throwing up the message that 'this accessory does not support the iPhone' and 'charging is not supported with this accessory'. Until recently I'd never seen either of these messages while using the transmitter.
Has anyone else had bother of this nature or is my transmitter just broken? Before I pay £20 for a new one and find it doesn't work either! Thanks.
