Wow. That game... Aaron Rodgers is definitely the best quarterback in the NFL. What other QB could get sacked 8 times and still lead his team within a TD, throw for 384 yards 2TD and 1 pick? I'm pretty sure even Peyton Manning would be crying on the sideline at that point. So glad it's the bye week for the Pack. We really need to get our o-line healthy. We'll take them at Lambeau.

Way... way too many specs to list.
It was like Steve Young being backup for Joe Montana.. in any other team he'd have started ;)

I have to admit, being a born and bread Packer backer (pre-cheesehead dont'cha know).. that was still a fun game to watch ;)

I was born in 86 and bleeding cheese ever since. Packer backer, cheese head, whatever the heck you wanna call me, I am it. I remember Majik going down and Brett coming in. I remember him hitting Kitrick Taylor for the winning TD against the Bengals. That traitorous pile of crap, can't even respect what the city of GB gave him. I even look like Aaron Rodgers now (short cropped hair, beard... it's a bit nuts). Anyway, that game was painful to watch. Fun is definitely not the word. Any time your franchise QB gets sacked 8 times it's painful. Thankfully we worked out Tauscher today and will probably sign him in a day or 2. Maybe with that and Clifton being back we'll be able to keep Rodgers standing long enough for him to be able to get the ball out. He's SO good if he has time... I have never seen anyone play like that. So good.

Congrats! As mentioned, most any job today is a good job to have. Just don't become one of these guys...

The Seven Types of Employees You Meet at Best Buy

That's pretty good. I like the way the don't have to train any employees except to be able to repeat one line: "If it doesn't work out for you just bring it back within 30 days." Just for fun, whenever I buy something there I say to the clerk "I suppose if it doesn't work I can bring it back, right?"

Ahhhhhh .... yea.. see.. I remember, and vividly at that, the lean years.... the 70's and early 80's, back when Bart was the coach and GM (he was a great GM, not so much coach) and Lynn ****ey was tossing a pumpkin up the field. After all that, and the Packers/Bears game in which it was a contest of which team wanted to lose the most to start the season, perhaps my expectations are low :D

wow, it just edited Lynn's last name :D :D :D

Haha, it edited Lynn's name. That's great. Can we add the word Favre to the filter? Maybe if I use it in a derogatory manner? Like, Favre you... Or Favre off? Because the word is offensive to me.

Anyway, the signing of Tausch looks imminent. YAY!

And thanks for all the happiness about the job... haven't heard back yet. Hopefully tomorrow. :)

Yea for bath and body works! As a guy who gets dragged in there on a biweekly basis when there are no other men in the store, it'd be nice to see you behind the counter. :)

Oh yea, and I passed my drug test! Woo! Work starts the 17th!

Congrats on your job. I too had an interview at Best Buy just waiting to hear from them, I may call them today though. Watch out because what if they pop a random pee test? Grats anyway, it sure it tough to get a job these days I've been looking for over a year since I got laid-off. Not fun...

Congratulations on the job. I had an interview recently (not at Best Buy) for a full-time position. I'm really hoping I get the job so I can switch. My job right now is very boring and routine. I'm also still living with my parents and the new job would give me enough income to live on my own.

@ todd51: Good luck! That sounds very cool. I wish I had the income to move out. The economy just isn't in favor of many people right now. Very hard to find enough money to be independent these days.
