MacMail problem

Hi,
I've been searching a lot of different forums trying to find a solution to my problem but have come up empty handed. Everytime i view a message, then quit mail, when i reopen that particular message no longer shows up in my inbox. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about your problem, I have no solution for it, but I do have a temporary "band-aid" for as long as the problem persists.

Here's a link how to recover 'accidentally' deleted mail.
Maybe someone else will read about this and provide you with sufficient info that will solve your conundrum.
