Is there a quick way to change the default program that opens certain file extensions? For instance, I have dozens of flv videos that suddenly open with a Finale (music notation program) video information page! I can't imagine what happened, but obviously the files won't play. I want the default program to be QuickTime Player. Thanks.

Right click on one of your .flv files and select Get Info.

Under the section labeled: Open With, choose QuickTimePlayer. Also, you will want to select the 'Change All' button to make this the default application for this file type.
