I have an Imac intel core 2 duo running on osx 10.4

I am trying to upgrade to leopard 10.5. When I click on the icon to install leopard it prompts me to restart my computer and when I do- it restarts but nothing happens- not prompted to any more installation steps. If I click the icon again I am just given the option to restart.

any ideas?

What 10.5 Leopard DVD are you using? Black Retail DVD or Gray DVD that came with another Mac?

What color is your Leopard installation disk...grey/silver or black?

If it is grey/silver...is it meant for an Intel iMac (check the label)?

If not...these are model specific, and won't work on an iMac if it was meant for a different model computer.

HTH,
