Hi I'm a new MAC user as well as a wireless router user and recently I have noticed that when a certain individual logs on/off their computer (must be a neighbor because I don't know who it is) it knocks my connection out I do have a password on my router but was wondering could they still be using my connection to log on? If so how could I make it more safe for me to be logged on and harder for them to NOT log on. Thanks for any help...:Not-:Not-Amused:

For them to be using your connection, they would have to know your password.

Is there any chance they do?
Is your password set to default or did you make it up yourself.
Always use a very personal password that noone else can know.

Hope this helps

You can do a number of things. Change the password, or change the SSID and password and not broadcast it. This can reduce the number of people who can see your network.
