I'm looking to buy the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter by Apple but I'm not sure if its the right one. If I check on wikipedia, my connector looks like a DVI-D cable but on the connector of the Adapter there seems to be more pins. Check out what I mean.

It has that many pins but my connector looks like this.

If I could please have an answer to wether or not I should buy it. Thanks

Yes, it is the correct one.

The main thing you're looking for with DVI cables/adpters are whether it has the four pins surrounding the slot. Without them, you have a DVD-D connector.

That particular adapter will work with DVI-D dual link as well as your DVI-D single link cable.
