Hello all,
I have a 2.2gHz MBP that suddenly has developed issues. It's a 2007 model with the nVidia gpu. I think it's kernel panicing but I'm not too sure. I've reloaded, disk utilitied and it keeps telling me to restart.
Restart screen
Here's what it looks like when I use the Leopard disc to boot. I booted from disc to use disk utility which worked once then it freezes after it boots from the disc. Notice the vertical lines after it froze. When I try to boot from the disc now, sometimes it will start and other times the screen will flash, show vertical lines, and freeze. I have tried resetting the PRAM as well.
Kernal Panic log
Can anyone tell me if this is a result of the defective nVidia graphics processors or not? If it is it should be covered regardless of Apple Care correct? There was supposedly a Technote regarding these defects. If someone has the link to this document it would be appreciated as well.
Thanks
STeve
