My Power Mac G5 (late 2005) running OS 10.5.6 connected to a Linksys Wireless G router (with WEP encryption) via Airport will connect to our wireless network with a good signal, and then will continue to peter out until the wireless signal is completely dead.

Can't find much other than switch to WAP, use a static IP, update Airport Base software, etc. Some may think it's because my comp is switching DHCP leases until it conflicts? Either way, I'm a tech tard and could use some help, thanks!
