    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

Creating a very very fast transition in a slide show

I'm working on making a music video where I want to have a slide show of pictures transition very quickly, close to .1 sec per picture, and then add this slides show to a project in iMovie.

Would anyone know how to go about doing this? Any other software I might need?

Thanks

I just tried creating a quick clip of an image in iMovie 09 and the low limit was 0:05 fps, which is longer the .1 seconds I believe.

Perhaps Final Cut could do it, or one of the other third party slide show or video editors.

Oddly, iStopMotion might be usable for this, but it keeps track of every image individually, so you'd have to import the image more than once, or maybe duplicate it.

Keep in mind that .1 second may be too fast for applying transitions like dissolves between each image because on a 30fps (29.97fps for NTSC) video, that is only 3 frames. The tool you'd use would have to allow use of a single frame from each scene for its transition.
