Microsoft Office - crash when printing

have recently installed Microsoft Office on OS X 10.6. However, I am having a problem whenever I try to print from Word or any other program. The program will crash with the message 'Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close'.

I have updated both OS X and Microsoft Office to their newest versions and tried to print to two different printers, but with no avail. Please help!

I had the same problem

I solved it by removing my printers from the system preferences and adding them again. hope this works
