Keeping OSX "Awake"

Hi, just wondering if there is a way to keep OSX from going to sleep after a while. I'm trying to download some rather large files and it would be practical to be able to keep it running through the night. It'd be even better if there was a way to log out and keep my file downloading.

Search for an app called caffeine.

Just set your computer to never sleep using the Energy Saving preference pane in you System Preferences.
