hi

my region codes are blocked and i cant watch dids which are not code 2.
so if I watch dvd region 1 how can i open with vlc or other appl?
caz now when i open the dvd it just shows me the VOB files,and i would like to see it as proper dvd...any suggestions

I don't know the answer to your question (I don't use VLC for that). But why wouldn't you use the built-in DVD player app?

How many times have you changed the region code settings? You can only do it a maximum of five times after which your last choice becomes permanent.

Put the disc in, open VLC player and manually select the disc from the menu. It will play it then.
If you are trying to play the files in a folder you need to have them all in a folder titled VIDEO_TS.
Region coding does not matter with VLC, regardless of how many times you have swapped it in DVD player.
