I have recently decided to start using Safari again as it does seem to be quicker than Firefox (particularly when quitting). I am very used to certain thing s in Firefox and can't work out how to do them on Safari.

The main one is where do I get plugins for the Google search box on the toolbar. On Firefox search there's a little dropdown for searching specific sites. I had things like Wiki, IMDB, BTJunkie and Word Reference. I don't even know if it's possible on Safari, let alone how to add them.

Any suggestions.

Look here, might be something.
Pimp My Safari: plugins

Wow. I've got GILMS up and running with all my Firefox searches replicated as well as creating a whole batch of my own. Just what I was looking for.

Haven't checked it all out yet but I also prefer links opening new tabs not windows.

Thanks so much for the tip.
