dvd drive

hey guys.

i am trying to watch curb your enthusiasm on my powerbook g4 but the disc keeps popping back out

it takes it in, makes some noises, and it comes out...

what could be an issue?

I know you probably tried this already but does it do it on another dvd?

And if it doesn't .. there is a possibility that retail disks have errors on them
that computers will refuse to read .. where regular dvd players will.

And are they original DVDs or copied using a DVD recorder? That can cause a problem for computers as csegeek points out.
