Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!

I have been trying, in vain, to upgrade my Iphone to 3.0. Its the length of the backup which is the killer.

I have left backup on for over 10 hours and it was only 75% done - I had to disconnect and take the iphone to work.

I have never backed up the iphone before but surely over 10 hours to backup an Iphone with only 7gb of info is annoying.

Any tips to speed up the back-up process?

It is an Iphone 3g and I am using a brand new Macbook Pro 2.66ghz.

Thanks

Hmm, the backup process shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes maximum. It isn't backing up all of your music/videos and other things, since that's already on the machine to which the iPhone is sync'ed with. The usual upgrade process takes me about 30 minutes or so..

Regards
