My Firefox application settings were originally set for a quicktime plug-in to open files like these:
Example
But I want to be able to have another program (Express Scribe) open it instead.
I've gone into Firefox settings and selected Express Scribe (transcription software) to open everything that Quicktime is supposed to open, and still Quicktime opens it.
Right now, what i have to do is save source to desktop and then drag it into Express Scribe, but I'm doing so many short files that this wastes a lot of time. I just want Express Scribe to open the sound files in the first place.
Does anybody know how to override the Quicktime plug-in?
Thanks in advance for your help.
