Battery Draining W/ AC Connected

Recently My Macbook Pro battery is draining well playing computer games with the battery and AC adapter connected, I receive a message that the battery is not charging, and slowly drains till dead. In the System Profile it says my battery condition is good. Does anyone might know what is is?

Hi there...consider trying these steps: close the lid (so the Macbook goes to sleep), wait a couple of minutes or longer, then disconnect magsafe power adapter. If this fails to work you have a bad battery which can be replaced under the warranty through Apple.

It's OP's first post... he is stating nothing specific about his model MBP or it's age, and yet
you know it is still in its warranty period.

And on top of that Apple is going to replace his battery too...

I say, recalibrate it, and post the results here, we'll go from there.
Apple has not been known to replace batteries just like that.

Unless you can prove its a manufacturing fault.

Would agree with Sur3Mac on his points of calibrating..

But would try and reset the SMC as well.

I am not sure if Apple suffers from this as well but with Toshiba Laptops if you don't have the right power supply (provides enough amp's) they will slowly drain the battery too while running on power.

Make sure your power supply is the right one, the one I use for my MBP is the 85W not 65W. it is possible that you power supply may be going south too.. try someone else (friend or coworker) or maybe an Apple store might let you uses theirs in the store to test.

Good one CseGeek, but it seems O.P isn't interested anymore...;D

I've reset the SMC, and that didn't work I bought a 85w AC adapter and that didn't work, and I've bought a new battery and that didn't work. and I calibrated both.. and my Macbook is 2 years old

I'm out of ideas .. have not cracked too far in to my MBP to see what parts could be affected.. (have no problem opening it up to look just don't have the time or energy att.. its late and time to go home.)

At this point if it charges while off .. there is a problem some were either logic board or power in some where .. hate to say it but tis time to take it to a specialist.
