You would think it would be so simple.
What i want to do is import a list of emails into mac address book.
I have a group of emails separated by commas.
example:
[email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
Here's what i've done:
I put the emails into one cell in excel then "text to columns" so that they are all in separate cells in 1 row horizontally. I put the first cell(A1) as "name" (so that i can later click "ignore first card") Then i save it as Windows CSV file.
Then I Import "text file" in address book. Then i see my emails and they all say "do not import" next to each one.
Please help i'm desperate i've spent hours reading forums and talking to mac tech support.
Update:
I have noticed that if the email has the word "email" in it it will change it from do not import to "email(other)"
ie; [email protected] or [email protected]
