30" ACD resolution

I have an early 2009 (non-unibody) 17" MacBook Pro, and a 30" Apple HD Display. I've come to understand that there is a dual-link DVI on the display and a single-link DVI on the MacBook Pro.

Is there a solution to use this monitor at its full resolution? Either with an adapter, splitter, or combination of them?

Any help is appreciated - thanks!
