I have an book on cd that I ripped to mp3 and put on my iphone to listen to. I put it into iTunes but is shows up under the music category. How can I move it so that it shows up under the audiobooks category? I have several other books I would like to rip and would like to have this straight before I start. Thanks for the help.

What you can do is create a playlist for the book and then it will play through or there are a couple of programs that will create 1 big file for your or there is another program that will take all the tracks and put it into an actual audiobook format for iTunes. If you put the audiobook into iTunes as you ripped it wil be all the separate files. My recommendation is the playlist thing or purchase the program audiobook builder.

And the manual way is not as hard as the list looks upon first read through after you've done it a couple of times.

But for $10, if you want to do a bunch of books, AudioBook Builder is what I use now.
