I love the mosaic screensaver that pulls from iphoto, but for some reason out of hundreds of photos I have, the central image it keeps going to is an image of one of our pet rats poking out of my girlfriend's ample cleavage. Not that I don't think it's extremely amusing, but what is the algorithm that determines which of the images are selected for the main photo. It can't be random...

And then of course there are the questions; which OS, which Computer model, what version of iPhoto and what is your girlfriends name and ph?

I dont know for sure but i were to take a guess I would say that;
it probably establishes which images are suitable for the area and then goes alphabetically.
TRY changing the name of the image.

It's likely completely random and you are just trying to find a pattern (which is exactly what the human brain is designed to do). I wouldn't sweat it.

It is actually near impossible to program random.
The closest you can get to random is pseudo-random, and even that isn't completely random.
The only way to get random is mechanically.
And i sincerely doubt that it is running random mechanically.

So the likely hood is that it is running on a pattern!!

What I would like to know is why is there a pet rat in your GF's cleavage!;)
